Shayden got really excited about a Ukulele Festival happening in Logan and so I decided to do a face painting there and he entered the contest and won 2nd place! I wish I had a picture of Shayden up there on the stage performing House of Gold by Twenty Pilots. He just retreated into the car to practice for a little while and he was nervous but he still did so well. I was very proud of him. He won a gift card to a company that sells Ukuleles that was there and with that credit he bought this:
I was very proud of Jasmine and Tayevion too that day. Jasmine because she worked really hard twisting balloons, and Tayevion woo'd people over to watch his little magic show.
Tayevion got it in his head that he wanted to earn enough money to buy his own ukulele and everyone was so impressed with him that they practically threw money at him! I think everyone thought he was so cute. The people at the ukulele booth also were willing to give him a big discount, and in the end he was able to get this:

Jasmine got a mermaid tail for her birthday and because her little sister wants to do everything she does, she made her one too!

This was the summer chickens. At the end of his Kindergarten year, Tayevion's teachers convinced us to take in three chickens! Two didn't survive long, but Jasmine's did, which she named Raven. It was fun and a nightmare all at the same time.
